Overall my pregnancy has been going well and I’ve enjoyed most of the pregnancy so far. But this week when I reached 30 weeks pregnant, I suddenly felt so tired when I wake up in the morning. What is going on?!? Having fatigue during pregnancy is normal but I never thought my energy levels would just drop so suddenly.
Waking up in the morning after having about 9 to 12 hours of sleep the night before, I am still so sleepy and tired. During the day, I no longer have the energy to do much work and find that although I am tired in the morning, the mornings are the best chance to get some work done. I definitely feel unproductive at night.
I don’t know how other pregnant mummies do it. It would be nice to hear from other expecting moms what they do to keep their energy levels up, particularly if you are still working full time. I definitely have profound respect for these women!
There’s not much that I can do about it but to hang on as there’s only 10 weeks or less to go. I know, fatigue during pregnancy sucks but I’m happy at least that I didn’t end up having morning sickness throughout the pregnancy or any major complications. Although, come to think about it, I probably be more tired when the baby arrives :/ Because I’m pretty tired now, I’m keeping this post a bit short 🙂
