We wanted to share the good news now that we have passed week 13 and that yes we are in fact pregnant! We are proud to announce that we are having a healthy baby!

We are super excited, happy and overwhelmed with emotions about the good news. We expected to be pregnant but not so fast because we had previously read that it can take up to 1 year and that there is only a 25 percent chance of getting pregnant in any given month.

We initially found out we were pregnant after taking a pregnancy test on January 30th 2016. I had expected my period on the 24th of January but it never came, leading us to believe we may be pregnant. We decided to wait a few days before taking the test in case I was late or that there was a delay for my periods that month.

Here’s a video of the day we took the pregnancy test. I peed on the pregnancy test and put it straight back in the box for a live reveal.

We were both extremely nervous about the results, excited about what could be and filled with so much emotion when it all became real. Watch our reaction and our joy afterwards.
